Make dragging easier and stop holding the mouse button to highlight in Windows 7

1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. If the View by: is Category then click on Hardware and Sound. Under Devices and Printers, click Mouse. If the View by: is Large icons or Small icons then click on Mouse.
3. Click Buttons tab. In the ClickLock section, click to place a checkmark beside Turn on ClickLock.
To adjust how long you need to hold down the mouse button before your click gets locked, click Settings... button and drag the slider. Dragging the slider towards Short will take less time to lock. You have to wait for a longer time in order to lock if you drag the slider towards Long.
4. Click Apply and then click OK.
