Adjust the double click speed for your mouse in Windows 7

You may adjust the double click speed of your mouse to make it respond faster or slower. If the double click does not work then settle for a slower setting. Perform the following steps to adjust the double click speed for your mouse:
1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. If the View by: is Category then click on Hardware and Sound. Under Devices and Printers, click Mouse. If the View by: is Large icons or Small icons then click on Mouse.
3. Click Buttons tab. In the Double-click speed section, drag the slider to the left for a slower speed or drag the slider to the right for a quicker speed.
4. Click Apply and then click OK.
