How to select a row in Excel 2007?

There are little more than a million rows in Excel 2007. In a new workbook, all the rows look alike. For identification, you have the Row Header at the left most part of the worksheet area with numbers 1, 2, 3, and so on till 1,048,576.
To select a row, for example, say row number 2, move the mouse or the pointing device over the row number 2 in the Row Header. The cursor changes from plus sign to right arrow. Now, left-click the mouse or the pointing device to select the row.

Alternately, click on any cell in row 2 and press SHIFT + SPACEBAR to select the row using keyboard.
