Make a cell comment transparent in Excel 2007

By default, the cell comment is not transparent but you can apply transparency to a cell comment. Although it is not a good practice to apply full transparency to a cell comment as the information in the comment box and the information in the adjacent cells to the comment cell have the overlap text effect. The title of this post is to make a cell comment transparent and so to apply transparency, perform the following steps:
1. Right-click on the cell that contains the comment and click Edit Comment.
2. Right-click on the border of the comment box and click Format Comment...
3. From the Format Comment dialog box, click the Colors and Lines tab.
4. Under Fill, in the Transparency: box, enter a value in the spin control or drag the slider to the right.
5. Click OK.
