If data entered is too large then the entire text does not get displayed. On the other hand, if the text is small compared to the size of the text box then too much space is left in the text box.
You have an option to automatically resize the text box to fit text. Perform the following steps to do so:
1. Right-click the text box and click Format Shape…
2. In the Format Shape dialog box, click the Text Box tab from the left pane.
3. In the right pane, under Autofit, click to place a checkmark besides Resize shape to fit text.
4. Click Close.
