How to delete multiple rows in Excel 2007?

To delete multiple rows, you have to select the rows that you need to delete first. The selection of rows can be adjacent or non-adjacent.
To select adjacent rows (for example, row number 3, 4, and 5), click the row number 3 in the row header area. Press the SHIFT key and click the row number 5 in the row header area.
To select non-adjacent rows (for example, row numbers 4, 7, 11, and 15), click the row number 4 in the row header area. Press the CTRL key and click the click the row numbers 7, 11, and 15 in the row header area.
Once the rows selection is over, on the Home tab, in the Cells group, click the down arrow in Delete and click Delete Sheet Rows.
Alternately, you can right-click on any selected row number in the row header and click Delete.
