Paste Options button not appearing in Excel 2007

When you copy data and paste it by pressing the CTRL + V keys or by clicking the Paste from the Home tab, you will see the Paste Options button at the lower right side of the destination cells. If you do not see the Paste Options button then these might be the reasons.
a. When pasting the data, you selected the destination cells and pressed the ENTER key instead of pressing CTRL + V or clicking Paste.
b. The Show Paste Options buttons option is not checked in the Excel Options. To place the checkmark, click the Microsoft Office button and click Excel Options. Click Advanced from the left pane. In the right pane, click to place a checkmark besides Show Paste Options buttons and click OK.
