Delete multiple files in Excel 2007

If you delete the files then those files move to the Recycle Bin. To delete multiple files, all the files that are to be deleted should not be opened in Excel 2007. You can delete multiple files at once by performing the following steps:
1. Open Microsoft Excel.
2. Click the Microsoft Office Button and click Open.
3. The Open dialog box opens. Locate the files that you want to delete.
4. To select multiple files, perform the following:
    a. To make continuous file selection, press the SHIFT key. Keeping the SHIFT key in pressed state, click the files to select.
    b. To make non-continuous file selection, press the CTRL key. Keeping the CTRL key in pressed state, click the files to select.
5. Right click on any file and click Delete.
6. In the message box that says Are you sure you want to move these n items to the Recycle Bin?, click Yes. n is the number of items that you selected.
7. Press Esc or click Cancel to close the Open dialog box.
