Create new cell style in Excel 2007

You can create new cell style in Excel 2007 with the advantages being that the cells to which you apply the cell style will have a consistent formatting, saving time if you need to apply the same format to other cells in the workbook, saving cell styles to use in all new workbooks, can be easily modified later to suit your needs.

Perform the following steps to create a new cell style:

1. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Cell Styles and click New Cell Style...
2. In the Style dialog box, in the Style name: box, type a name for the new cell style.
3. Click Format... button.
4. In the Format Cells dialog box, do the formatting that suits your needs and click OK to close the Format Cells dialog box.
5. Click OK to close the Style dialog box.
