Create a cell style by modifying an existing cell style in Excel 2007

Excel 2007 provides some cell styles by default. You can also create your own cell styles. If you want to create a new style by making some changes to the existing cell styles then you can do so by performing the following steps:

1. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Cell Styles.
2. Right click the cell style that you need to modify and click Duplicate...
3. In the Style dialog box, in the Style name: box, type a name or accept the default name.
4. Click Format... button.
5. In the Format Cells dialog box, select the formatting that you want.
6. Click OK to close the Format Cells dialog box.
7. Click OK to close the Style dialog box.
