When you use Excel 2007 often and feel that the way you go to open Excel 2007 takes too many mouse clicks and need an easy way to open Excel 2007 then you may pin Excel 2007 to the Start menu. Excel 2007 can be installed on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 (of course you can install on the Windows server operating systems also but that is out of our scope).
Pin Excel 2007 to the Start menu in Windows XP
1. Click the
Start button and click
All Programs.
2. Click
Microsoft Office.
3. Right-click
Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and click
Pin to Start menu.
Pin Excel 2007 to the Start menu in Windows Vista or Windows 7
1. Click
Start 
type
excel in the
Start search box (in Windows Vista) or in the
Search programs and files box (in Windows 7).
2. In the
Programs section, right-click
Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and click
Pin to Start Menu.
