Add or change a shape effect to the text box

To add or change shape effect to the text box, perform the following steps:
1. Click the text box to select it.
2. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the Shape Effects command and do one of the following: To add or change the preset effect, point to Preset and click an option. To customize the built-in effect, click 3-D Options and make the changes.
  • To add or change shadow, point to Shadow and click an option. To customize the built-in shadow effect, click Shadow Options and make the changes. 
  • To add or change reflection, point to Reflection and click an option. 
  • To add or change glow, point to Glow and click an option. To customize the glow colors, click More Glow Colors and make the changes. 
  • To add or change soft edges, point to Soft Edges and click an option. 
  • To add or change an edge, point to Bevel and click an option. To customize the built-in bevel effect, click 3-D Options and make the changes. 
  • To add or change 3-D rotation, point to 3-D Rotation and click an option. To customize the rotation, click 3-D Rotation Options and make the changes.
