How to delete a name in Excel 2007?

You cannot delete a name from the Name box. To delete a name, perform the following steps:
1. On the Formulas tab, in the Defined Names group, click Name Manager.
2. The Name Manager dialog box appears. From the list, click the name that you want to delete and click Delete.
3. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
4. Click Close to exit the Name Manager dialog box.

Tip:
You can delete multiple names at the same time by pressing the CTRL or SHIFT key and selecting the names.
